Sub-measure 1.4.1.
Promotion of the region and internationalisation of the SME sector - projects implemented outside the ZIT formula.

Objectives and planned effects of the project

The subject of the project is the internationalisation of MEXMO Sp. z o.o., which is a micro-enterprise, and geographical expansion under sub-measure 1.4.1 - type II of the project. The project realises the objective of the sub-measure, i.e. increased level of foreign trade of the SME sector, as it includes the development and improvement of competitiveness of the company and the MEXMO brand as a result of geographical expansion into new foreign target markets.

The project plans to enter with the offer of the MEXMO brand (colour cosmetics, accessories and make-up services), which was created as part of R&D activities, on the German and Cuban markets, which are extremely prospective markets for the cosmetics industry.

The project comprises 5 phases in which the following tasks will be undertaken:

Participation in a foreign trade fair and exhibition event as an exhibitor
- Beauty fair Dusseldorf (March/April 2017).

Participation in a national trade fair event as an exhibitor
- BeautyVISION Poznań trade fair (April 2017).

Organisation and participation in a business mission abroad - Cuba (May 2017).

Participation in a national trade fair and exhibition event as an exhibitor
- BEAUTY FORUM & SPA trade fair Warsaw (September 2017).

Participation in a foreign trade fair and exhibition event as an exhibitor
- Beauty Forum Munich trade fair (October 2017).

The implementation of the project is a direct result of legitimate needs, including the need to take measures that determine the development and improvement of competitiveness.

To this end, it is necessary to participate in international economic events (in Europe and beyond), which will enable the MEXMO brand to be promoted, numerous contacts to be established with potential partners and a wide group of contractors in the target markets, including the target audience.

Ultimately, these activities will improve the competitiveness of the Company and the region as a whole, as well as their image internationally.
