Opis

Tea tree oil is a natural remedy with healing and skincare properties. It has been used for hundreds of years as an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and disinfectant. Great for fighting pimples as well as other problems such as nail onycholysis and herpes. This oil contains several hundred chemical compounds, of which the most important and responsible for its action are: 1,8-cineol, terpinene-4-ol, as well as gamma terpinene, alpha terpinene, alpha terpineol, p-cymene, alpha pinene, limonene, aromadendrene or linalool. The scent of tea tree oil is intense and spicy, but at the same time has a delicate citrus note (thanks especially to the limonene in the formulation).

Above all,tea tree extract has a very effective and scientifically proven antiseptic effect. It acts against many potentially pathogenic micro-organisms, ranging from fungi, yeasts, moulds, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria to certain viruses and parasites. In addition, it has an anti-inflammatory, soothing effect.

SKIN AND HAIR

Tea oil can be used on the face, especially topically where there are visible inflammatory, acne or other types of dermatoses. This is because it has been shown that it can act against the bacteria that contribute to the development of acne (Propionibacterium acne). However, we should remember not to apply too much of the oil in such cases and to apply it clearly on a spot basis and not on the whole skin, even on unchanged skin. Excessive amounts of tea oil can be irritating.

The use of tea tree oil also extends to the hair and more specifically to the scalp. Here, it is especially useful in cases of dandruff.
